To the scientist there is the joy in pursuing truth which nearly counteracts the depressing revelations of truth. ✿ March Event ✿ White Day ✿ For this first event, we decided on something lighthearted and a bit silly. Valentine's Day is over, but fortunately Japan has a tradition called White Day. On Valentine's Day, girls frequently offer gifts of chocolate to the boys they like, among other important people. One month later, on White Day, those who received chocolate are expected to give gifts in return. So how do your characters know who gave them chocolate during the missing month of February? They don't. But they'll have a compulsion to give gifts to specific people. They don't necessarily have to know these people. This event is mostly going to target characters of the masculine persuasion and compel them to give gifts to ladies, but all things are imprecise. If you'd rather your female character feel compelled, give a gift to another guy, or whatever other variation, feel free to do so. The compulsion will begin on the morning of the 14th, and escalate over time for the event period. It may switch targets, it may have multiple targets. The compulsion will worsen if the gift is rejected. If accepted, the compulsion will either end or, if your character "received chocolate from multiple people in February," change to a new target. Feel free to use this post for plotting. Furthermore, starting today (the 10th), a man identifying himself as Principal Moto will sometimes be emerging from the office. He appears stressed and nervous, if ever-smiling and cordial, and may stop characters for a brief chat if they don't seem busy. He will not be seen in the cafeteria, and every conversation with him will include a recommendation to visit the art room. Art reduces the chaos in life, and the school has received a very large shipment of clay for all your sculpting needs. Maybe you can use it to make gifts?
